Ballarat Calisthenics Studios

Our calisthenics club has worked tirelessly for over a decade raising funds to create our vision of a brand new multi-studio calisthenics facility for our local Ballarat community. We extend a great deal of gratitude to our Jayde Debutante Ball committee, volunteers and participants, and our club members and their families, who have supported this venture since 2010. We are also indebted to the Flynn family; our beloved co-founder Donna who we tragically lost in 2023, her husband Paul who has spent countless hours managing the build, and daughters Monica and Sophie who are current Jayde coaches and members of our Seniors team.

As a not-for-profit community sporting club, we are incredibly proud that in 2024 we'll be opening Ballarat's only multi-studio calisthenics facility built from the ground up. We knew there weren't any existing buildings in Ballarat that would suit our vision; so, rather than try to fit our classes into a space that wasn't quite right, we instead purchased a large block of land and got to work! From a vacant lot transformed into a dedicated calisthenics establishment, we have taken time to ensure every detail suits our unique sport and accommodates our growing Jayde family, as well as supporting the growth of calisthenics in Ballarat.

Inside we have three large and private dance studios with a flexible partition offering a super-sized studio space, with viewing windows ensuring our students and coaches can enjoy uninterrupted classes and rehearsals. Our large foyer area, along with kitchenette, sewing and meeting rooms offer plenty of space for our parents, coaches, committee, and visitors. A large dedicated storage room will accommodate our collection of beautiful costumes and our facility boasts all the amenities you would expect for a sporting club - female, male and disabled toilets, change rooms and even shower facilities. We'll even have a beautiful outdoor space to be enjoyed in warmer weather. Our private car park outside the building provides a safe and secure space for our members and visitors to park while attending classes and calisthenics events.
